Biggest event since Merdeka - Permatang Pauh : what it was like there

So what else happened?

It appeared that the BN men were booed at. Cries of “pembunuh”(murderer) and “Altanuya!, Altantuya!” were heard. Hardly complimentary!

When compliments were paid to Puteri UMNO they (complimenters) must have been quiet. But the ladies were not and decried the "buttock binching" by the PKR men!

Some people are hard to please. The Police were quiet, too!

Thunderstorms are forecast for the next 3 days over Penang and Permatang Pauh. It would be difficult to plead with voters if it rains and if eager party workers are drenched to the bone.

Biggest event since Merdeka - Permatang Pauh: Nomination done!

Anwar looks his opponent straight in the eye, while the the 3rd candidate looks nowhere but has 3 left fingers up!

Looks like the bizness of nomination has been wrapped up. It cost PKR RM15,000 to set up another candidate, just in case BN were to panic and zap up Anwar.

3 candidates will vie for Permatang Pauh Parliamentary Constituency seat:

1.Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, (PR)
2.Seberang Jaya MP Datuk Shah Omar Shah (BN)
3.Hanafi Hamat (Angkatan Keadilan Insan Malaysia (Akim) president )

I thought Ariff Shah was the real dude! It appears he's also Shah Shah Omar or Omar Shah Shah or Shah Omar Shah. If I'm not mistaken, anybody who carries "Shah" in his name is a King of some kingdom!

Biggest event since Merdeka - Permatang Pauh: flags up!

Ku Li, Gua Musang Umno division head appears to more than appreciate the significance of Permatang Pauh by election. I may have gone over a little and dubbed it "Biggest event since Merdeka". Well, I ain't alone!

Meanwhile, the battle of the flags and banners has started. It appears BN's flags are stuck. Have they been paid for or not?

[L]Anwar's party flags already up || [R]BN's still stranded! Paid or not?

Biggest event since Merdeka - Permatang Pauh: News

#01:

In fact, he said that he was advised that members of Puteri UMNO were on house to house campaign to buy voters. In exchange for payment, a voter must give a copy of the identity card. I was told by some people in Bukit Mertajam yesterday that the going rate is between rm1000 and rm1500. Anwar advised his audience that given his knowledge of the people in Permatang Pauh, he was confident that they would vote with their conscience, not be tempted by such gesture.

Spam ... watch out! Better you than me!

It's not so simple isn't it? If your buddy got spammed, you won't get away so easily.

Got one in my email, but I bombed it out! Watch the video and find out! As usual celebrity Bill's MSNBC nearly got me! It came as a source under the guise of MSNBC!

Monty Python has another idea about spam!

US Elections - Voters besieged by Bullshit

In the 2008 US Election, it seems voters are fascinated by a lot of bull. Instead of serious issues, voters get bewitched by bullshits. A director of political polling Kip O'Leary thinks, there'll be a lot less bullshits if it weren't for news vendors and newsmen. It's kinda of true. With a lot of C4's in Malaysia politics and fire-crackers exploding in your own faces, it stands to juicy contemplation with the bulls released through open flies.

Well, yes! Don't forget blogs! Many blogs can be full of bed sheets, too!

More open flies - See Four Yourself or "get hoisted by your own petard! "

When UMNO or Mahathir threw out Dr Chandra Muzaffar from UM, beware all other UM people, he founded Parti KeAdilan together with others and became its Deputy President. Some iinternal struggle for leadership came to a head and Chandra quit. Not long after, he sided with UMNO/BN and became its "brainy" poster boy. Many thought and still do that Chandra was never really in PKR but all the time in the UMNO/BN fold. But this is mere speculation. It would be more acceptable to say that he defected to the BN camp sanitizing BN's less ethical or moral stance. He recently highlighted that Anwar Ibrahim's open declartion of courting BN's MP's as undemocrative undemocratic and unethical..

Chandra's solid faith in his new found pulpit with BN has drawn a lot of flak. When there are rampant examples of BN's unethical practices in all the previous general elections, the sorry state of the Judiciary, and the excesses of the those in power including the Police are considred, not many would stake their underpants on the incoherence of Malaysia's politicians. Insuniating Anwar's open declaration to return to Parliament as "back door" many are roiled by his inconsistency. Khalid Jaafar wrote a stinging rebuttal and leaves Chandra "hoisted by his own petard"---or in more present day terms "C4ed himself" !
