Japan Tsunami | Malaysian students safe

It seems the aftermath of the Japan Tsunami is unfolding with yet more grim news. Some 10,000 may be missing and the potential disaster from radiation on nuclear plant damages are making people more apprehensive.

Over Evening 8.00pm TV News tonight Malaysian Minister, Shafiee Afdal said Malaysian students were safe in Japan according to preliminary reports. There has been no specific detailed news of other Malaysians but PM Najib said a team of some 15 members of Malaysia's crack rescue people would be sent there.

Malaysia by some stroke of luck has been missed by the Ring of Fire, a region of the Earth where under it are tectonic plates that line the Pacipic Rim in a sort of circle.
