Tunku Aziz says Ta! Ta!
So Tunku Aziz will not be a law maker any more. Big news! His term was to expire anyway.
Tunku Aziz is a strange guy. Read what he said:
“I served Dewan Negara, not as an Opposition proponent but as a loyal citizen for the best interest of the country."
The principal object of that sentence is NOT AS AN OPPOSITION PROPONENT.
A young budding politician of 37-40 years old would tell him off. For what? For being an old jerk. Here was an opportunity for him to preach. The occasion demanded it but like the Bersih incident he ...was him. All he had to do was say something like -
“Thank you guys. I may want to go fishing more now but I won't catch any sharks. But before I pack up, I'm overawed at this opportunity in having served my motherland (or was it fatherland) Malaysia. I may have screwed you up from across the aisle but hey! we're doing all this for Malaysia. Whether you're an opposition member or government member we serve our nation. When we fell short you were there. And when you did too, we screwed you up real good. But hey! give me a call if you like fishing! Ta! ta! ”
Habis! Apalah cakap macam tu? When will it stop in the average Malaysian's mind that the opposition are traitors. PM and DPM and that skunk Ahmad Maslan say that all the time - opposition are traitors! Those skunks in tall songkoks, supporters of UMNO say that moning noon till night. Brahim Ali and Hasan Ali if they didn't say it they meant it. Especially in the kampungs. They're never shy anywhere.
The moment called for it. Tungku Aziz wasn't there at all.

NST | The mighty Media Prema quashes Tok Guru
You know I get piqued about NST after been pissed over their "spittooning" of Bersih.
Who are these guys? I found out the group belongs to Media Prema which has muscles worth RM2.4 billions ! Well, with sums like that you get humbled when your internet bandwith and speed suck. Maybe it never occurs to them, you guess, that if they make your life liveable that RM2.4 billions would double or treble and go haywire at RM7.5 billions or RM10.0 bllions.
Who owns the group? Very simply stated, the UMNO(government party) people who captain the economy and who soldier for the country. What UMNO say is not Haram. Police brutality is operability. Now you really get the drift on those 40 Ulamas for Ali Baba. That said, they do give back to the community some RM30.0 millions. Well, to their...their buyers, their captive market!
Johan Jaafar[L] captains Media Prema and no Malaysian alive does not know him as his face flashes over all the media companies he leads in the group - several TV stations including the Government's. He is especially prominent when when his network dishes a spin and he is supposedly generous in his extrapolation of all else that supposedly ticks of our gray matter
This is the house[R] of Tok Guru Nik Aziz. Plain, petty to some, not prosperity to many and hardly the pinnacle of any captain of industry. At any time of his waking life, he might only have RM2.00 in his pocket. He needs little. People say he gives much.
Perhaps, they give it back to him in the security of his house and family. Or what else is there of the flower beds he has around. Kind words and kindness beyond conspicuous prices.
But the house is pretty in its own way for its owner.
Did he tell people to revolt? Did he tell them anything new but affirm and clarify what they did was right? He shared those values with Bersih people and they back and with all others on free will.
So what is a RM2.4 billiions group doing running down an old man who only has RM2.00 in his pocket? What would it cost for anyone to sit and chat with Tok Guru Nik Aziz? Very little. But a lot to MediaPrima, RM2.4 billions actually.
You now know why they say Tok Guru is a dumb old man who knows nuts of the economy.

Fatwas and Fat Wars
We're gonna see more "Fatwas" being issued. There was one earlier by Tok Guru Nik Aziz and it was founded on clear and salient foundations and made no pretence of it's clear objective. It was a good Fatwa. Actually lots more people have made personal fatwas, earlier than Tok Nik and for purposes of practical communication his was well-founded.
There are many forms of fatwa. Amongst the Malays, when it's linked to religious fatwas, they carry various weights and meanings. And sometimes fear. I'd like to think of fatwas as clarion calls. There are numerous legal institutions embedded in Islamic culture that a decent Muslim would care to list. In fatwas, for the values they clarify and amplify, you gravitate towards them. As you did before Tok Guru declared it.
The one declared by the National Fatwa Council is suspect. Clearly it's a fatwa against Tok Guru Nik Aziz's fatwa and the smog politicians are cooking. Now we can see the extent of how Ali Baba and the 40 Ulamas work.
In Tok Guru's Fatwa he said it was compulsory. If you're not convinced with the injustices now, you can go and fry in hell yourself. In reality, you don't and won't fry in hell. You fidget and shift in your seats and regret you can't make it for valid practical reasons. The punishment is in your conscience. We cant say for those whose conscience did not appeal to it.
The National Fatwa Council as it appears now is openly a mockery in its construction, fundamentals, application and purposes.
That said, it could still be a guiding light to Muslims in different circumstances and constitution.
It's deceitful because assemblies for clear and peaceful purposes are sanctioned by the Legal Consitution. Neither did the National Fatwa Council exhibit understanding of the national Constitution nor salient principles of Fatwa. They have turned it into Fat Wars...in pursuance of apparent misguided objectives.
