Ahirudin Attan (Rocky), Jeff Ooi and celebrity blogger Datin Paduka Marina Mahathir hit a snag in their blogging lives and have proclaimed they'll take a break from blogging. People are being put off with this "fear of losing face" and the shaming business. The Government Information Ministry media anchor Datuk Shakery has asked PKR people to be "civilised".
What can we do? People in coffe shops and the warongs are probably asking the same question and probably feeling the same. Should they stop doing what they do at the coffee shops and warong? Surely bloggers are not the only people whose hearts are beating!
If people stop blogging how would we get the info the Malaysian Mainstream Media won't give? It would be good bizness for coffee shops and warongs if bloggers mogok!

Hi Salak, permisi untuk komen.
Mogok blog saya only for 48 hrs. Tak cukup panjang actually but enough to prove a point perhaps.
I believe blogs can/should provide better journalism, at least in Malaysia where the msm are failing us.
Today, many blogs are being used as propaganda tools. Some worst than the msm. It's draining to compete with propaganda apparatus.
But I'll try.
As the Malay saying goes .. Selagi badan di kandung tanah.

Bukankah blogging sekarang nadi kehidupan? Baik buruk semua realiti. Tak kisah kalau dia orang nak buat propaganda, tapi kembalikan hak rakyat!
Lagi pun, kalau mereka tak biar orang lain buat propaganda juga, manakan mereka "SEDAR" propaganda mereka sendiri busuk? ;)
