DEMANDS FOR ..."ORANGS"
- Prosecute Melaka zoo authorities.
- Return four Orangutans originally from A’Famosa to the Sarawak orangutan sanctuary, and not back to the resort.
- The remaining Orangutans be given access to the outside area of the enclosure on a twice daily rotational basis
- The adult male Orangutan which is likely incarcerated 24/7, must be also be given access in front
- New enclosures and night shelters must be built; and
- Management and staff of Malacca be sent to Singapore zoo for training.
Singapore? They have very many Singas in the Zoo in Singapore!

"Zoo" must be made obsolete unless animals are allowed to roam in larger and more open confines not in cages. Confining them in cages is abuse of their natural freedom.

If Singapore is a Zoo and there are Singas in it, Malaysia has to be a bigger Zoo! :))
That'll be the day when we have no Zoo anywhere. Kuching is a big Zoo. We have 2 Mayors, one a book keeper and the other an ex cop as Zoo Keepers, for a population of some 400,000.
I agree, the affinity with animals, should teach us bigger animals a thing or two! ;)
