@Bersih 3.0 | Let's topple the Government

It's 50 years since Merdeka in 1963.

Malaysia is a consitutional monarchy and with a Parliament of a bicameral lower and upper house. And elections are consitutionally provided for.

When Mahathir Mohamad retired, his party was ruling and it still is. It seems unreal for Mahathir that that the government can change. The idea did not arise. There is only the government, UMNO or BN.

Well, too bad for Mahathir. The constitution says you can "topple" the government. Malaysians are calling for free and fair elections as consitutionally provided for and citizens want to topple the government in the forth coming elections.

Can you get any clearer than that?

If there's any truth in citizen accusation of the transgression UMNO/BN have committed, think about 50 years of ONE PARTY RULE!

How did they do it? In plain words ... by dictatorship! The Executive, Judiciary have plunderd the country and the process of laws have not worked to the maximum. Somethings worked but if we're that VISIONARY that is tantamount to one that values a small ineffectual part while the other is so huge and glaring it seems, is beyond your scope of vision.

Bersih 3.0 is clear - citizens want a new government and they want a fair and just means of toppling the present recalcitrant government and its leaders in the forth coming elections.

There are of course things you can't topple. You can't topple Gunung Tahan, Kinabalu or the Malaya Mountains in Kerala or the Himalayas at the world's roof. You climb mountains. When you reach the top of any mountain, there's only one way to go - down! You wonder if there are Malaysians buried in the Himalayas we haven't heard of.

Let's say this again to Mahathir Mohamad in no uncertain terms - WE WANT TO TOPPLE THE GOVERNMENT!

And it looks like we're well on the way there as citizen thoughts coalesce post Bersih 3.0.

Too bad Mahathir cannot topple the opposition. But UMNO/BN could without even trying!
