Thomas Jefferson: 'When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.'

Therefore, 'People should not be afraid of their governments. Governments should be afraid of their people.'

Let's hope that these noise we make now, will result in liberty from tyranny come the next GE.

But was it a candlelight Memorial for Teoh Beng Hock or a PKR campaign/Ceramah? It could have been more solemn, with calls for justice and that TBH did not die in vain?
