The nation lost another son in good "top notch journalist", "true blue journalist" and "one of the greatest journalists Sarawak ever had" - all these best described the man I knew as plainly "Mr Tony Thien".
His sudden demise was indeed unexpected, has shocked and pain many, his friends and his family. Even he himself had not expected it and had even made arrangement for a good rest after the ops before he would bounce back with vim and vigour!
He will be sadly missed by the media fratenity. To Tony wherever he is, I wish him well. To his beloved family, my deepest sympathy and condolences.
