"Umno should dissolve, Pas should also dissolve. Set up another party on condition that it is based on Islam," he told reporters after opening the 37th muktamar (meeting) of the Kelantan Pas Dewan Ulama (Assembly of Muslim Scholars) here.
Nik Abdul Aziz, who is the Kelantan menteri besar, said there was no reason for Umno to reject the Islamic policies proposed by Pas because Islam stood for all communities, including the non-Malays, in the country.
