UMNO need to be smarter. Next time put RM 50 in the kueh kapit or love letters. Then jamu the reporters with the kueh.
Another way is to have RM 50 put into Fortune Cookies. After dinner give everyone a Fortune Cookie with the RM 50 in it. Aiyaa now the voter will say wah so good fortune ahh.

We walk further into the city centre, and a Malay gentleman walks up to us. He sounds a bit unstable but he is gentle and asks us if we would like to see a bit of the Terengganu heritage at the museum area around the corner.

We think it’s a ruse to get some money off us.

But then he asks us, “Do you have enough money?” Before we can say anything, he puts his hand in his pocket and whips out a couple of RM10 notes and says in English, “Here, take this.”

BN is gonna lose, shrek! That's a terrible sign of panic! We should be up all night tonite, there might be a number of recounts! You bet BN will want many recounts!

Salak said...

We MUST pay TRIBUTE to those two lady journalists!

You don't need to go to outer space to help build a new Malaysia!

It's right here! With feet firmly on the ground!

Hahaha, Shrek I like the kueh kapek and fortune cookies idea! Maybe BN will pick it up next "Buy-Election"!

Not to sound cruel, let's hope for more of it, hopefully next will be Pasir Salak and Pekan!

Salak said...

No, Jong!

There might not be another bye-election!

There has to be a GENERAL Election. If there is another Bye, helmets will run out of stock! :))

Salak said...

I think the margin for PR might just be 1,000. Possibly not less or more! ;))

Looks like it's going to be paper-thin victory either way. I just received this sms message from Ground Zero, please note the sentiments:

"I tend to comfort myself by putting bet on what I don't like so if BN wins less hurt but if PR wins then more joy."

Salak said...

Jong,

The BN and Civil Servants are now hurting systems or culture. If our so-called leaders in BN are not willing to axe whoever deserves it, the Minister, The Federal Secreatary, the State Secretary or Mayors, THEN LET US, the electors, do the job!

First thing is to open up local government! Have direct elections!

Read what Najib is DOING TO OUR KIDS!!!

We should abolish the NS right Now!!!

We can't be keeping Najib there because of his father. Najib was never with his father. He was floozing around in London!

Well Salak, it depends on his fat blob if she agrees to it and has earned enough in contract supplying uniforms and equipment like she has been doing in Ministry of Defence.

Dear Kuala Trengganuites,

The power is in your hands, please do the necessary and tell UMNO/BN that we have enough of their lies. After 52 years rule, this is where we get? Look at Singapore - that tiny red dot on the world map with no natural resources, see how successful they have become and where are we compared to them?

Let's start from you, help create history and push them all into the South China Sea! Permatang Pauh did it and so can YOU!
Let's rock them!

NS is not bad if done correctly. Singapore, Taiwan, South Korea all have NS program. However the recruits are placed according to their ability and physical make.
In the 60's Malaysia had a similar program called short comm. Not sure how many remember this. You can sign on for three years and after that you may continue into regular commission or drop out.

Hope these 2 journalist won't be arrested under ISA for their protection.

With men like Hamid Al Burp and Musa Hassan in the Ministry, we might as well employ gangsters who, BTW, do have a code of honor - and by that code of honor these two would be in heaven now!

Mafrel observed that some irresponsible "bigshot Lawmakers" are still into compaigning activities today which is Polling Day. The Law spells that it should stop midnight before Polling Day.

Check http://mafrel.wordpress.com/2009/01/17/312pm-campaigning-continue-onto-polling-day/#comment-395

Those VIP Lawmakers who flaunt the law, shame on YOU!

It is alleged they were Najib Tun Razak, Elizabeth Wong and Fauziah Salleh.

They should know the law better and lead by example!

Jong said...

Oops, sorry a little correction here:

"..nothing so guilty about taking it back afterall if you don't others will pocket it just the same."

Salak said...

Hi Jong!

Talk about Ang Pow! I don't mind some but in these times who's giving!?

Salak,

Strange indeed, I notice most blogs have not been moving - no comments and they have not been updated - eg Anil Netto, Haris Ibrahim and Zorro's, all have not been updated today. My comments have been stuck there for hours now. I suspect it's sabotage via streamyx. You may be one of the unlucky ones. Peng's too was affected. Sucks, this is how they work!

Suprisingly LimKitSiang Blog is ok.

Salak said...

I hope Kit Siang has something to say on this!!!

Or has DISCRIMINATION taken a new leaf in lexicography!

But Harris and the others are probably tired. Still I think, anil would have been quite rowdy, but its quiet!

Perhaps, there was actually something in your heads up and the duck was quacking real hard? :((

Jong said...

Anil Netto is Penang based lah. Unless, he joined Omar for drinks this sunday. :D

I was with Omar and Sherine at the Esplanade some time back and one guy came up to ask Omar if he was Anil Netto. :D

So Omar did you take him out?

Salak said...

Anil writes for a few periodicals, Jong! For PP, I guess it was just a hop away!

But for those he writes, where necessary he might have to be there to firm up pieces!

Jong said...

Anil Netto's blog looks ok today but not Zorro's and Haris Ibrahim's.
I suspect it's deliberate attempt to block info, KT must be the reason!

Sorry friends!

My connection troubles are not yet fully resolved. I was reconnected at about 10.30 this morning but that only enabled me to read emails. It was crawling speed like "siput"!

I should expect some more hiccups before things return to normal.

I'll just have to look forward less trouble from our Super Corridor of Hyper IT!

The Media Center where all the journalist rere organized was supposed to be provided by the Ministry or Information together with the SPR, I suppose! How could both parties keep mum on the incident? Couldn't somebody acknowledge that the despicable act happened under their noses and they owe us an explanation. All this is the responsibility of the BN gomen?

Do they ENCOURAGE interested parties to use their facilities to bribe reporters? And where would their responsibility begin and end? Have they encouraged those organizations to be CONDUITS of CORRUPTION?

Jong said...

Now I can't read emails! Guess problem is Yahoo's this time?

Salak said...

Telecom called me on HP!

I didn't even want to answer them and waste money on them. The little that I paid was part of the nice stories they tell the public!

They'll me the same old miserable story! A story no different than UMNO and BN!!! :(((

Hey guys/girls,

I think it is due to the underground cables that are still in fix at the moment. got to bear with it. Streamyzx/jaring/any network also cannot do much.

Honestly, I would love to receive some BIG angpow! In need of money to fund my self... May be I should be Najib Left hand man and help him to polish his shoes and get some cash...

Perhaps I should be the Office Boy who pretend to be lack of education fund and look for Najib for his SINCERE HELP!

Oh dear, I think i also need to prepare some CONDOM... Just in case. I don't wanna have HIV! :D
